My background in art and my degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania both play a large role in everything I do at my practice, particularly with eyelid rejuvenation. A strong understanding of spatial relations helps me create an aesthetically pleasing contour of the eyelids.

My approach for eyelid rejuvenation is conservative in order to create a natural look rather than a hollow, altered appearance. The fat removed from the lower lid will help create a natural transition into the cheek. The design of the crescent of skin removed from the upper lid is vital for an optimal balance between function and cosmetic result.

The surgery, which I perform in my office, can take from an hour to 90 minutes. Stitches are removed within a week, and makeup can be applied a day after removal. Full recovery can take from six months to a year. The advantage of eyelid surgery is that it lasts as long as fifteen to twenty years
